The Missions Committee would like to share a praise with the congregation! To date, the Koinonia Christian Foundation has raised $11,000 needed for classrooms. The Koinonia Christian Foundation is working to provide a 12-classroom school building to provide free education in a safe environment for children in Liberia, from grades K-12. From 1990-2004, Liberia experienced severe destruction and loss of lives as the Liberian Civil War ravished the country. The war destroyed three-quarters of the country’s schools, and many children have no access to a basic education, so the Koinonia Christian Foundation will serve a great need. The Foundation still needs $50,000 to build the school. If you would like to donate, make your check payable to “Trinity Hill United Methodist Church” with “Liberia School Project” on the memo line and drop in offering or send to the church office. If you would like more information, please contact William Tokpah at firstname.lastname@example.org.
