Women’s (and Men’s!) Potluck date change: Monday, January 12 6:30 p.m. Special Guests: Mike and Sherri Morrissey, Missionaries to Thailand. Because Trinity Hill has long supported the work of the Morrisseys we are opening this potluck to anyone who is interested, men, women, and youth. Come and hear about the important work Mike and Sherri are doing and enjoy food and fellowship.

Room in the Inn Clothing Drive

Some of our Inn guests need winter clothing, such as coats, jackets, sweaters, sweat shirts, hats, gloves, mittens and long underwear. If you have new or gently used clothing you wish to donate, please place the items in the Room in the Inn barrel in the narthex. Our guests will bless you, and so will the Lord.

Join us for “A Celebration of Carols.” This selection of beloved carols will help you “grasp hope with all of your heart and experience the rich abundance that is the true gift of the season.”

NOTE: There is only the 10:30 service on the 14th and on the 28th. Sunday School will meet on the 14th but not on the 28th.

LIBERIA MISSION TRIP JANUARY 2015

Liberia Mission Trip: January 10-20, 2015. We’ll be working on the school building, doing VBS with the kids, and helping with women’s classes. The approximate cost is $3000/person. Would you like to bring a smile to the face of someone who needs some encouragement?  Then please join the Pet Ministry team made up of volunteers from Trinity Hill and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and our four-legged friends as we visit nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Lexington and Wilmore.  They are currently visiting Bluegrass Care and Rehabilitation Center, Wesley Village, The Breckinridge, and Tanbark Health Care Center.  Click here for more information on this important ministry!
